I adore being in nature, it is precious. Everything about the environment I live in helps me dream and grow as an artist. I believe it nurtures me, drawing inspiration from the natural forms,  the scents and the light.  Looking and really seeing what is offered freely also inspires me to be creative and to write poetry from time to time. The beauty I see when I travel, from my first trip to Jamaica to an incredible trip to Botswana  inspired me to write a poem and create several illustrations to form a poetry picture book.
