About Jo
“As an artist, I spend a lot of time looking and thinking, processing ideas over a long period. Sometimes, an idea develops over years before it comes to fruition.”

“In the studio I feel free to explore my thoughts and inspirations. I can develop my practice through play and discover different ways to interpret what I see and feel.”

Jo’s artistic repertoire encompasses acrylic paintings, reverse acrylic techniques, and intricate collages. Her inspiration stems from the structural beauty and colours found in the natural world, as well as her extensive travels. Notably, a transformative journey to Botswana’s Okavango Delta inspired her to craft a poetry picture book, blending her visual art with literary expression.

Jo’s work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across the UK, including the Affordable Art Fair and the Artwave Festival. Her pieces are held in private collections nationwide, reflecting her ability to engage viewers and evoke a deep appreciation for the often-overlooked details of our environment.
